World Series - Let's Go Rangers!
The Ballpark in Arlington
World Series tickets
Let's Go Rangers!!
View from our seats :)
The Ballpark is Rockin'
Yesterday, Michael and I were apart of sports history - we saw the Rangers play in Game 5 of the World Series!! There was such a great energy in the air and it was amazing to be in the middle of it all. Michael and I cheered loudly, ate cheap cheese nachos, peanuts, and even had a few ballpark beers :) Even though the Rangers didn't win, we had a great time and we are so proud of our baseball team! They had a great season and we can't wait till next year!!!

Home Improvements
BEFORE (pictures of kitchen)
The 70's canary yellow counter tops

NEW and IMPROVED (still need to complete backsplash and repaint)
We cut down part of the wall
Silestone counter tops - makes the kitchen so much brighter!
New cabinets and built in wine cooler - we still need to paint it
New sitting area - my new favorite place :)Michael and I bought our first house last July and have loved being homeowners. We have made minor home improvements throughout the last year, but our biggest has been the kitchen. It has been a slow process and is not completely finished, but we wanted to share the changes so far. This weekend, thanks to Michele's help, we created a new sitting area in front of our fireplace to sit and chat on those cold Dallas nights :)

Lubbock 2010
Friday night with Meg
It's Game Day!
The Tailgating Crew
This past weekend, Michael, Ginobes, and I loaded up the car for our traditional bi-annual Lubbock trip. On Friday, Michael took Ginobes and I on a jog through the Texas Tech campus. It was really fun to see the buildings that Michael had classes in and the fountain that he and some buddies put dish soap in (he says the suds were 4 feet high!). Later that evening, we met up with all of our friends for a night on the town - man, did we feel old :). Game day started with some good 'ol tailgating and then it was off to the BIG game to watch a Longhorn victory (Hook'em!). During our trip, Michael and I were sure to hit some of his favorite college spots - Spanky's for some fried cheese and Rosa's for some AMAZING late night tacos! It was so much fun to spend time with good friends (even though they are all Red Raiders) and watch a little football.
